Michael Henchard does not just have one diagnostic or just one personality for that matter. His personality can be described as thoughtful and strong-minded further also as ruthless, uncompromising and cold. Henchards impulsiveness, aggressive attitude, childishness and selfish nature do failure and misery inevitable in his life.
